Just when you thought your artwork was starting to look pretty good, a robot comes along and shatters the illusion. E-David by Germany’s University of Konstanz uses five different brushes and 24 colors for its surprisingly impressive watercolor art.
The robot bases its work off of photos, which its software determines how to replicate using brushstrokes. Better still, it also learns as it works, changing its style or adjustments by just looking at its canvas. E-David also signs its work, so look out for a piece at auction in the future.
