We all know December can get busy, and for cord-cutting TV fans, it can be hard to squeeze in time to watch all of your favorite shows. The Amazon Fire TV Recast over-the-air DVR lets you record live HD broadcasts do you can watch whenever you want, and today Amazon's running a great sale: you can grab a two tuner for $190 or a four-tuner one for $230, down from a list price of $230 and $280, respectively.

These DVRs each have multiple tuners, so you'll be able to watch a show and record another at the same time. With 500GB or 1TB of storage, they can records up to 150 hours of content, so you'll have plenty of room to catch the best content of the month (or year, depending on how quickly you binge). To control channels, navigate recordings, and more hands-free, you'll need a separate Echo device on the same network as well as an HD antenna to receive live broadcasts.

When we reviewed this DVR, we gave it 4 stars out of 5, calling it "frustratingly close to great" and noting that although it's missing a few convenient features (ad-skipping, remote streaming on non-mobile devices), its smooth video quality, user-friendly set-up and connection to other devices, and low price even before the deal make it worth checking out.
