Sure, having a kid deliver the rings at a wedding may make everyone go "d'aww," but they might drop your rings, making the whole procession look silly. Darn kids. Last weekend, Otavio Good, creator of the Word Lens app, had a quadrocopter deliver his wedding rings by air in truly awesome, geeky fashion.
At the wedding ceremony, Otavio shrugged when the wedding officiant asked him for the rings. Then a harpist played the James Bond theme while a quadrocopter showed to deliver the rings. Once Otavio had the drone in hand, he untied the rings from a ribbon and sent it off to be free like a bird. Pretty smooth, no?
