8/30/10 Hot Pic: "Colorful Spring Evening," by Sandeep Pawar, Glencoe, Illinois

Sandeep says: "I took this photo using a Canon XSI at Chicago Botanic Garden this spring. As I was on my way out of the garden, I saw amazing colors in the sky, and the colorful tulips provided a nice foreground. Since the light was fading, I took three shots at different exposures and then made a high dynamic range image using Photomatix Pro."

Ann says: "The sky was cloudy, but as the sun set, it lit up this small patch of bush in front of my house. I snapped it quickly with my Sanyo S870 before the light faded."

Joshua says: "My son and I were hiking with the Boy Scouts in Lake Wales, Florida, when I was experimenting with some camera settings and snapped this. I thought the dust added a cool effect in front of the the setting sun. I took the photo with a Canon EOS T1i."
