Korean electronics manufacturer LG unveiled two new HDTVs this Wednesday, both of which boast a thin outer frame.

The plasma sets, dubbed the "Skinny Frame" range, are available in 50- and 60-inch screen sizes. Both of the sets pack in three HDMI ports, USB connectivity options, and a refresh rate of 600Hz.

The new 1080p TVs get their thin name because of the slim screen border that measures just under one inch (25mm) thick.

LG is currently selling the new plasma screens in Korea only, at costly prices of 1,700,000 and 3,800,000 Wons (around $1500 and $3,300, respectively). However, we will be sure to give you skinny if LG decide to bring these TV's stateside.
