This Week's Hot Pic: "Chicago Moon," by Stacy A. Niedzwiecki, Rockford, Michigan
Stacy says she was inspired to create this picture after reading the recent newsletter about creating double exposures.
She writes: "In November of 2003 I visited one of my favorite cities: Chicago. Standing at the Navy Pier at night, I realized how beautiful the skyline was and snapped a quick photo with my Canon 10D. Then, just this past week, there was a lovely full moon rising up over my backyard. I photographed it using the 10D on a tripod right on my deck. I decided to merge the two photos using layers in Adobe Photoshop, and was quite happy with the results."
