Pocket PC PDAs come with built-in applications for scheduling appointments, organizing contacts, and maintaining to-do lists--and generally, they do a reasonable job. Pocket Informant, however, improves upon these tasks by integrating them. For instance, if you want to make sure you don't forget a friend's birthday, you can create an alarm that links to your friend's name, allowing you to see the details pertaining to that entry with a single touch of the stylus. You also get an excellent task manager that lets you filter tasks to view the matters that require your immediate attention.
