GasBuddy: Available free for iOS and Android, this app uses a live database of gas prices to help you find the cheapest place near you to fill your tank.

iExit: Want to know what's at the end of an off-ramp before you get there? The iExit Interstate Exit Guide app, available for $1 for iOS (for a limited time at this price) and free (for a limited time) for Android, lets you check to see what restaurants, stores, and restrooms are at each exit ahead of you, so you can plan your trip accordingly.
