10 Best U.S. Airports for Cell Coverage

Many travelers rely on their cellular service to stay connected in the airport. But not all airports are created equal when it comes to the quality of the cell signal in their terminals. We tested the cell service of the Big Four cellular service providers (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon) in numerous locations in each airport, and then derived a composite speed from all of them. The accompanying chart ranks the ten airports that had the highest composite cellular speed, and also identifies the average download and upload speeds for each service in each of those airports.
