Better Call Saul , the forthcoming Breaking Bad spin-off starring Bob Odenkirk, is headed to Netflix for your eventual binge-watching pleasure.

Netflix subscribers in Europe and Latin America will get first crack at the show, with episodes streaming “within days” of the U.S. broadcast.

Subscribers in the United States and Canada will have to wait longer. The complete full season will become available for streaming sometime after the season finale on AMC.

Breaking Bad followed a similar pattern in its later seasons. Overseas users got to watch new episodes the day after the U.S. broadcast, and full seasons eventually became available for U.S. subscribers several months after the original air date. In the meantime, viewers could buy individual episodes on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan has praised Netflix for its role in making the show a success. “Under the old paradigm—using the old technology of simply having first runs and then reruns on networks—I don’t know that we would’ve reached the critical mass that we reached,” Gilligan told Wired in June.

Gilligan is serving as executive producer for Better Call Saul, which is a prequel of sorts to Breaking Bad. It tells the backstory of sleazy lawyer Saul Goodman, years before he becomes Walter White's attorney in Breaking Bad.

Netflix says it will be the “exclusive subscription television service” for Better Call Saul, further ramping up the competition with streaming rival Amazon and its Prime Instant Video service. Amazon has locked up its own exclusive streaming rights for hit shows such as Downton Abbey, and both Amazon and Netflix are producing their own original series.
