MWC 2013 Day Three: Tablet talk

And on the third day of Mobile World Congress, our attention turned to tablets—two tablets in particular.

For a visibly injured Armando Rodriguez, that’s the Xperia Tablet Z. Armando had a chance to go hands on with Sony’s forthcoming tablet—it’s set to ship some time in the second quarter of this year—and he declares it one of the more impressive devices at this year’s MWC.

Sarah Jacobsson Purewal was more impressed by a tablet inside a car—the Sensus Connected Touch. It’s an Android-powered touchscreen interface that will let drivers control their in-car infotainment system starting in May. (It can also be retrofitted in some existing Volvos as well.)

But all tablets and no play would make for a dull MWC. So why not take a gander at our slideshow of some of the stranger sights we’ve seen in Barcelona?
