Where to watch the Super Bowl online
No TV screen, no Super Bowl? Not any more.
Watching the NFL’s championship game used to require one of two things—either a ticket or access to a TV (be it your own, a friend’s, or one down at your local tavern). That changed last year, when NBC and the NFL offered online streaming of the big game.
That tradition continues this year. CBS, which is carrying Super Bowl XLVII, has set up a page for live streaming the Super Bowl on CBSSports.com. Look for that stream to go live at 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 3, a little bit before the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens kick things off.
Should you prefer to watch the game on your smartphone, you’ve also got an option—if you’re a Verizon subscriber. The wireless carrier is providing a live stream of the game through its NFL Mobile app, available on both Android and iOS.
Oh, and if you're mostly interested in the commercials, we the Super Bowl commercials online.
