Space Shuttle Endeavour visits San Francisco (Photos)

That was fun.

As part of its farewell tour, Space Shuttle Endeavour flew over the San Francisco Bay Area on the back of a Boeing 747 on Friday. The Shuttle flew over Sacramento, headed south over the East Bay, went back north over Oakland and Berkeley toward the Golden Gate Bridge, then made a loop around San Francisco before heading south again. The Shuttle is on its way to Los Angeles, where it will soon be on display at the California Science Center.

We got the chance to watch the Shuttle from our office's rooftop patio in San Francisco as it buzzed by, and we snapped a few photos and video.

Here's a short video by TechHive intern Albert Filice, which was shot as Endeavour passed the southern end of San Francisco.

Did you get any good shots of Endeavor's flyby? Tell us about it in the comments!
