Cure your Summer boredom with the Indie Royale Jubilee game bundle

Why buy one game when you can actually buy a bunch of them for an insanely low price? Indie Royale has put together a Jubilee Bundle of six PC/Mac games for the low price of $5.13 as of this writing. There’s a catch, though: The bundle’s price keeps changing, so by the time you're reading this it's very likely that the price has either dropped or increased slightly.

The bundle is built on an interesting game mechanism that lets you either pay the lowest possible price for the bundle, or any price you care to contribute to the bundle. Purchasing the game at its minimum price will make that minimum price go up, but purchasing the bundle for a value above the current minimum price has the opposite effect, bringing the current minimum price down.

So, the more people buy at the listed price, the more the price goes up for the bundle, but the more people that beat the minimum price, the more the price goes down for everyone else buying the app. It’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out over the course of the bundle’s availability.

As you can see from the above list, not all games will be available on the Mac; however, all of the games are available for Windows users, or through the Desura game distribution service.

Purchasing the games also gives you access to titles on Steam, should they be available on the network, so if you’re particular about keeping your gaming experience neat and tidy within the Steam environment, the team at Indie Royale will also give you access to download your games directly into Steam.
