E3 2012: Sony Conference Liveblog

Sony's in a bit of a tough spot. There are good games for its Playstation 3 and PS Vita systems, but that alone is not enough anymore. The company as a whole is losing money hand over fist, Playstation 3 sales are starting to sag in the U.S., and the new Vita handheld is off to a bit of a rough start. With no new Sony console for your living room until at least late 2013 and smartphones taking over the entire handheld gaming market, Sony has got to show gamers that Playstation delivers stuff you just can't get anywhere else. Not just exclusive titles, but entire experiences and features that have no analogue on competing platforms. For Microsoft, the answer to this problem has been a rapid expansion of the Xbox 360's streaming media capabilities. What will Sony's solution be?
