The Best Tech Deals of the Week

We'll show you where to find a good price on a new Sony camera, buy a top-notch Blu-ray player at a discount, and get a Bluetooth headset for free.

Sony BD-S350 Blu-ray Disc Player

Our reviewer had this to say about Sony's BD-S350 Blu-ray player: "Any way you look at it, the Sony BDP-S350 is an excellent Blu-ray player. It's well designed and easy to use. It supports high-end Blu-ray features such as BD-Live. And it produces good-looking images." As you might expect, though, that performance doesn't come cheap: The Sony BD-S350 usually costs about $300. Right now, though, you can find it for less than $175. That's a good deal on a very good player.

Asus Eee PC 7-Inch Netbook

Netbooks are known for being cheap, but this price on the Asus 7-inch Eee PC 701SD is still remarkable. ZipZoomFly.com is selling it for $150. Yes, $150. That's $100 off the list price of $250. The specs may not bowl you over--it includes an 8GB solid-state drive, 512MB of RAM, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi support, and GNU Linux, a package that can't compete with the Asus Eee PC 1000H, which currently tops our chart of the best netbooks--but, hey, it's $150.

TomTom One XL GPS

TomTom's GPS units have always done well in our reviews, so they're easy to recommend. And they're even easier to recommend when they're on sale. This week, you can find a factory-refurbished TomTom One XL, which includes a 4.3-inch screen, integrated Bluetooth, and text-to-speech functionality (which means that the device pronounces street names for you) for just $100 at Amazon.com. That's a significant savings off of the product's list price of $300. (Amazon.com also is offering a refurbished One XL that omits the text-to-speech feature for $10 less.)

Sony Cyber-shot DSC -T900 Digital Camera

It's not often that you find a good deal on a new product. But that's exactly what we have here. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 was announced at this year's CES, and began shipping in March with a list price of $380. That's expensive for a point-and-shoot camera, but the DSC-T900 packs in the features to justify that price. Among them: 12-megapixel resolution, a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD, and an intelligent auto mode that will optimize the scene mode, facial recognition, lighting settings, and image stabilization automatically. And the best news of all is that, right now, this camera is on sale. Dell is offering it for a starting price of $350, but you can use two coupon codes--6W?X$NF77G0MTV and NK0351R$3QC60V--at checkout, to bring the price down to $277.

Nokia BH-101 Bluetooth Headset

Who said you can't get something for nothing? Right now, NewEgg.com is offering Nokia's BH-101 Bluetooth headset for just $15. And a $15 mail-in rebate brings the price down to…nothing. The Nokia BH-101 wasn't one of the Bluetooth headsets we tested for our recent roundup, but we did test its sibling, the BH-804, which impressed us with its comfortable fit.
