Logitech has introduced three new iPod/MP3 speakers under the Pure-Fi range- Pure-Fi Anywhere, Pure-Fi Anytime and Pure-Fi Express.
According to a press release, Logitech's Pure-Fi Anytime has motion sensing technology and is compatible with the iPhone. The Pure-Fi Anytime allows you to dock your iPod or iPhone and also works as an alarm clock. The alarm clock's controls light up when you wave your hand over the speakers and the buttons automatically dim when you are done using it. The snooze function also responds to motion controls and the speakers also offer digital AM/FM radio.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere speakers offer a rechargeable battery with a battery-life indicator, a traveling case and a remote control with one-touch access to Shuffle and Repeat. The release claims that the speakers have a 10-hour rechargeable battery with a battery-life indicator and can re-charge your docked iPod. The speakers weigh 1.6 pounds and sport dimensions of 3.6 inches by 13.2 inches by 1.5 inches. They also have dual 2-inch Max-X, high-excursion drivers with neodymium magnets and 3-inch pressure drivers for bass. These speakers are a part of Apple´s 'Made for iPod' program, and they come in glossy white with silver grilles or piano-black with black.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Express runs on either AC or battery power and it can also be used to dock your iPod and charge it. These speakers support all iPods, and the 3.5 mm auxiliary input lets you use them with any MP3 player. You can also control these speakers with the help of a wireless remote.
The Pure-Fi Anywhere is priced at Rs. 9,795 (US$196), the Pure-Fi Anytime is priced at Rs. 7,495 and the Pure-Fi Express is priced at Rs. 4,995. All three speakers come with a warranty of two years.
